What Comes With Your Puppy
We list only what we can confirm for every puppy, and then what we suggest having ready at home.

Ready for the trip home
We would rather under-promise than list things we cannot guarantee for every puppy. What follows is confirmed. Anything specific to your puppy — their current food, routine or exact vaccination dates — we go through with you directly before pickup.
Confirmed with every puppy
AKC registration
Every puppy currently listed is AKC registered, as stated on their individual profile. Registration records your puppy's pedigree with the American Kennel Club.
Vaccinations up to date
Each puppy's profile lists their vaccination status, and every available puppy is up to date for their age. Your veterinarian sets the ongoing schedule from there.
Their individual information
Sex, age, coat color and hair type, and an honest description of what that puppy is like — the same details published on their profile, so nothing changes between the listing and going home.
Direct answers from us
You can text us before and after your puppy comes home. We would rather answer a question than have a family guess.
Preparation
What to Have Ready at Home
None of this is complicated, and having it before pickup day makes the first week much calmer for your puppy.
- A crate and a quiet, puppy-safe sleeping area
- Shallow, stable food and water bowls
- A complete puppy food formulated for growth
- A well-fitted harness or collar, a leash and an ID tag
- Size-appropriate toys and a suitable chew
- Puppy pads or a set outdoor toilet spot
- A soft brush suited to your puppy's coat type
- A booked wellness appointment with your veterinarian
Step 6 of the Adoption Process explains each of these in more detail, and the FAQ covers house training, crate training and Dachshund back health.
